An absolute delight from start to finish. Strange way to describe surgery, isn’t it? But it’s true. My primary care physician had suggested I look into bariatric surgery. After spending over a year looking at the possibilities, I decided all the popular methods were just too extreme and scary for me. Then my friend told me about Dr. Davtyan and LapBand surgery. Suddenly, it all made sense. My friend had also researched and interviewed several LapBand surgeons and chose Dr. Davtyan, so that was good enough for me. I made an appointment and the rest is history. The staff is kind, helpful and supportive. They were always friendly and courteous. The nursing staff made the process easy. Yes, actually easy. The atmosphere was very positive; it was clear they all knew exactly what they were doing. They quickly put me at ease. And the anesthesiologist walked in. I have had several surgeries in the past and have never seen the anesthesiologist, never minded speak to one. But Dr. Chorn came in, asked many, many questions about my health history and, again, made me feel that I was in extremely capable hands. Dr. Davtyan is a doll. He made it clear that he is available at any time – and he means it! The week after surgery was a nervous time for me, imagining everything that could go wrong. He (and his staff) nursed me through that time and I was so grateful for that. A week after surgery, I am in great shape and look forward to a healthier future, thanks to Dr. Davtyan.
